Czech 2021 election

Czech legislative election took place from 8th to 9th october and unexpectedly resulted in narrow victory for liberal conservative coalition 'Spolu', consisting of three centre-right parties (ODS, KDU, TOP 09 which got 27.8% of the votes. Prime Minister's Babis populist ANO came 2nd (27.1%)  and that was a giant blow for his reelection hopes. Centrist coalition of Pirates and Mayors was 3rd with 15.6%, and far right SPD was 4th (9.6%). Surprisingly social democrats and communists which supported Babis in last term, have fallen below the 5% threshold - that's why opposition coalitions won 108 seats, a pretty comfortable majority in 200 seats chamber. Election result may mean the end of Babis’s era in Czech politics and because he was mainly created politically by the president Milos Zeman, we are probably looking at the end of his era too.
